When following a training program one of the most detrimental factors can be the recovery period, if an athlete cannot recover effectively it will have a negative effect on their training. Equally, when training to lose body fat, all hard work can be undone by making ill-informed decisions on “fad-diets” rather than following the advice of experts. Remember: food is fuel.
