Running is the subject of plenty of scrutiny, with many rivalling theories, and a huge push by corporate organisations, trying to persuade the public that a newer better running style can be purchased for the price of a trainer. Add into this the fact that over the last 30 years
the running community has been plagued with an unacceptably high amount of injuries and you get a whole wealth of information available to the runner, some of which is helpful and some of which is not. Here at FST we provide a face to face source of information, coming from well qualified professionals, the best placed people to help with injury prevention, running form and more.

There are many causes of running injuries; most of which are intrinsic such as biomechanics, core stability and flexibility, which usually get trained very little (practicing a good running technique).  However, external injury factors such as intensity/distance ran, running shoe and frequency are things that usually get more attention and have little impact on reducing injury.
